Who we are
Clipping Collective is a trading name of Albaraa Abulkhir, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. Albaraa Abulkhir is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@clippingcollective.com.
What we collect and why
When you book a call
Our booking calendar is provided by Calendly. When you book, we collect your name, email address, phone number and your answers to our booking questions (what you create, a link to your channel, your rough budget and your goals). We use this to arrange and hold the call, send you reminders by email and text, and prepare for the conversation. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
When you email us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it to reply and to keep a record of our conversation. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
When you become a client
We keep your contact details, campaign details, the content you share with us and payment records so we can run your campaign, report on it and meet our legal and tax obligations. Payments are processed by Whop. Our lawful bases are performing our contract with you and complying with the law.
When you join as a clipper
Clipper sign-ups, campaign submissions and payouts are handled through Whop and our community on Discord. Those platforms process your data under their own privacy policies. If you email us about clipping, we handle that as described under “When you email us”.
When you browse this website
Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. The Calendly booking calendar may set its own cookies, and it will ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We only share your data with service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Calendly: call booking and reminders
- Cloudflare: website hosting and email forwarding
- Google: email (Gmail) and video calls (Google Meet)
- Whop: payments, and campaign and clipper management
We never sell your personal data. We may disclose it if the law requires us to, or to protect our legal rights.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where your data leaves the UK, we rely on the safeguards the law provides, such as the UK–US data bridge or approved contract terms.
How long we keep it
- Booking and enquiry details: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client.
- Client and payment records: 6 years after the end of our work together, because tax law requires it.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@clippingcollective.com. We’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office atico.org.uk. We’d appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
